Responsibilities
President
- Conduct meetings
- Prepare meeting notices and agendas
- Update and distribute Directory annually
- Communicate with:
- Architectural Review Committee
- Emergency Preparedness Coordinator
- Government and commercial agencies
- Property Cleanup From Fire
- Assist with updating the BRCA website
- Assist Special Committees (see below) as needed
- Fire Break Maintenance
Vice-President
- Assist the President as needed
- Distribute New Neighbor packets to new residents
Treasurer
- Keep and maintain books and records of the Association’s accounts
- Maintain tax returns and reports as required by law.
- Deposit all money or other valuables in the name of the Association with such depository as may be designated by the Board of Directors
- Disburse funds as may be ordered by the Board of Directors
- Send out dues notices in January and subsequent reminders, as needed
- Present a full statement of assets and liabilities at the Annual General Meeting
Secretary
- Prepare and maintain minutes of all meetings and actions of the membership and the Board of Directors
- Prepare and maintain a record of all members of the Association
- Assist the President with correspondence, as needed
- Hold and maintain a List of Residents
Special Committees
Board members may be asked to assist with the following:
- Warning siren options
- Cleanup of properties from fires
- Social activities, parties etc.
- “Busy Body” list
